Resize any image to exact pixel dimensions, with optional aspect-ratio lock. Runs in your browser — no upload. No upload — runs 100% in your browser
Marketplaces, avatars, email signatures and CMS upload forms all specify exact pixel dimensions — “1200 × 630”, “400 × 400”, “under 1920 wide”. Resizing by pixels is the only way to hit those requirements exactly. If you need a specific file size instead (like 100 KB), use the compress tools — size and dimensions are related, but only compression quality controls the bytes directly.
Scaling down always keeps the result sharp. Scaling up cannot invent detail — a 400 px photo enlarged to 1600 px will look soft no matter the tool. The output here is PNG, so no new compression artifacts are introduced; convert to JPEG afterwards if you need a smaller file.
No. Everything on this page runs inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works.
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger cannot add detail, so upscaled images look soft — keep the ratio lock on and avoid enlarging more than about 2×.
PNG, so resizing never adds compression artifacts. Use the PNG to JPG converter if you need a smaller file afterwards.
