The short version: your files are never uploaded, we do not have accounts, and the only data collected is anonymous, aggregate site-usage statistics.
All processing on DocToolsKit happens inside your browser. When you compress, convert, edit, merge or split a file, it is read from your device into browser memory and the result is saved back to your device. The file contents are never transmitted over the network. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and use any tool — no file data leaves.
There are no accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for your name or email. Document templates generate PDFs locally; the field values you type stay in your browser tab and disappear when you close it.
We use two third-party services to understand how the site is used, so we can fix what is broken and improve what people actually need:
Neither service receives your files or the values you type into tools, because those never leave your browser.
We may display advertising. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, under their own privacy policies.
